How we handle customer, website, communication, and ShopHAND information.

Scope
This policy applies to Broken Clover Tattoo LLC’s public website, customer inquiries and services, consent and intake forms, business communications, and ShopHAND business-operations application. It explains what information we handle, why we use it, when it may be shared, and the choices available to customers and authorized ShopHAND users.
ShopHAND is used by authorized owners, managers, staff members, and affiliated independent professionals. It is not a customer account system, bank, payment processor, or public social network.
Information we collect
Customer and inquiry information. We may collect names, email addresses, telephone numbers, availability, appointment and service details, design descriptions, placement information, reference images, communications, and marketing-source information.
Consent, identity, and health information. Depending on the service, we may collect birth date, address, identification type and number, uploaded identification, proof of guardianship, consent choices, signatures, health conditions, medications, pregnancy or nursing disclosures, allergies, procedure details, and aftercare acknowledgements.
Service and transaction records. We may maintain quoted prices, deposits, balances, receipts, dates of service, provider information, and records needed for aftercare, touch-ups, questions, disputes, accounting, or legal compliance.
Photography and uploaded content. We may receive service photographs, portfolio images, profile images, design references, and other files a user chooses to submit. Customer permission for public use of tattoo or piercing photographs is recorded separately from service consent.
ShopHAND information. ShopHAND may process staff contact details, authorization status, operational records, receipts, rental-cycle information, leads, messages, alerts, reporting data, review-monitoring data, and limited security, browser, device, timestamp, and error information.
How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries; match customers with providers; schedule, prepare, and perform services; establish informed consent; verify identity and guardianship; document prices and payments; provide receipts and aftercare; administer complimentary touch-ups; maintain accurate business records; operate and secure ShopHAND; send authorized operational communications; troubleshoot problems; prevent misuse; protect rights and safety; and comply with applicable obligations.
Broken Clover does not sell personal information or use customer health, identification, or consent information to build advertising profiles.
Photography and media choices
Tattoo and piercing clients may grant or refuse permission for photographs of the service to be used in a portfolio, on the Broken Clover website, or on social media. Refusing photography permission does not prevent a client from receiving service.
Photography permission applies only to the service images described in the consent choice. Broken Clover will not intentionally publish personal identifying information with those images without additional permission.
Communications and SMS
Broken Clover may use contact information to respond to an inquiry, coordinate an appointment or service, deliver a requested receipt, provide aftercare support, or send another communication the recipient has authorized.
Automated customer appointment-reminder texts are currently deferred. Before such a program is launched, Broken Clover will add an appropriate customer authorization process and update the applicable SMS terms.
ShopHAND currently supports low-volume, non-marketing operational SMS messages to consenting staff and affiliated independent professionals. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Recipients may reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance. Mobile information and SMS consent are not sold or transferred for another organization’s independent marketing.
Sharing and service providers
Information may be shared with the artist, piercer, PMU provider, or authorized Broken Clover personnel who need it to respond to a request, perform a service, provide aftercare, maintain records, or resolve a concern.
Broken Clover may use website hosting, form-processing, email-delivery, telecommunications, messaging-platform, Google API, security, storage, and other operational providers. These providers receive only the information reasonably necessary to perform their services and may not use it for their own independent marketing.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law; when reasonably necessary to protect a person, property, rights, safety, or the integrity of our systems; or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
Google services and limited use
ShopHAND may connect to Google Business Profile and related Google services when an authorized user approves the connection. Broken Clover may process business account and location details, reviews, ratings, review text, reviewer display information made available by Google, timestamps, response status, OAuth identifiers, tokens, and authorization status.
ShopHAND does not collect or store a user’s Google password. Its use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will follow the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is not sold, used for targeted advertising or credit decisions, or used to train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
Information concerning minors
Broken Clover provides certain piercing services to minors only when the applicable consent, identification, guardianship, presence, and safety requirements are satisfied. Information about a minor is collected in connection with the requested service and the parent or legal guardian’s authorization.
ShopHAND is a private business-management service and is not directed to children under 13. Broken Clover does not knowingly create ShopHAND accounts for children.
Storage, security, and retention
Information is stored on systems controlled by Broken Clover and its service providers. Broken Clover uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including restricted access and encrypted network connections where supported. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including service delivery, consent documentation, aftercare, recordkeeping, accounting, safety, security, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Different records may require different retention periods.
Access, correction, deletion, and choices
Customers and authorized ShopHAND users may ask to access, correct, or delete their personal information. Broken Clover will respond within a reasonable period, subject to identity verification and legitimate legal, safety, consent, transaction, and recordkeeping requirements.
Authorized users may revoke ShopHAND’s Google access through their Google Account permissions. Revoking access stops future collection through that connection but may not remove records that must be retained for legitimate operational or legal purposes.

Changes to this policy
Broken Clover may update this policy as services, forms, communications, ShopHAND features, providers, and legal requirements change. Material revisions will be posted on this page with an updated effective or “last updated” date.
