Testimonials and Reviews
“Reasonable price I had the pleasure of working with owner/artist Jinx, who I’ve done three appointments with. Our first piece together is an entire right arm sleeve with some authentic japanese themes fused with Jinx’s personal style. He is thoughtful, fun, extremely knowledgeable, and a very talented artist with a wealth of experience and skill. He works fast, his price is affordable, and the pain is manageable.”
“Great price The staff and environment was outstanding. Jinx was my artist and he was BEYOND my expectations and was extremely supportive, creative, and attentive to what I wanted. The price was also insanely affordable so I tipped heavy because that’s what this place and the artists deserve. Highly recommend for ALL.”
“Jinx has done many of my tattoos and has always been extremely helpful, fair, and committed to great work. Whether you’ve never gotten a tattoo before or have several he’s extremely knowledgeable and patient.”

Tattoos with a point of view
Jinx is a particularly good fit for clients who want a tattoo with character, contrast, and a clear visual identity. His work is not designed to disappear into a trend cycle. It is designed to feel intentional, readable, and worth looking at for years.
His strongest projects include:
- Horror and dark fantasy tattoos
- Japanese-inspired custom tattoos
- Portraits and character work
- Black-and-grey realism with dramatic contrast
- Illustrative color tattoos
- Neo-traditional and bold custom compositions
- Science-fiction, film, and pop-culture-inspired work
- Large-scale tattoos, sleeves, and multi-session projects
- Custom lettering and street-style influence
- Coverups, reworks, and projects built around an existing tattoo
Whether the project is a Terminator piece, a dark floral design, a Japanese-influenced sleeve, a meaningful portrait, or a full custom concept, the goal is the same: make it strong enough to stand on its own and personal enough to mean something.
Experience, honest guidance, and respect for the client
Jinx apprenticed under Lenny Mental of Sacred Art and built Broken Clover around a simple expectation: every client deserves quality work, clear information, safety, and respect.
Clients describe him as knowledgeable, helpful, fair, creative, attentive, and patient. They also mention manageable sessions, reasonable pricing, and work that exceeds expectations. That matters because a custom tattoo is not just a design decision—it is a long appointment, a financial commitment, and something the client will carry for life.
Jinx works well with people who know exactly what they want and with people who have only fragments so far: a subject, a memory, a mood, several reference images, or a tattoo that needs to become part of a larger story. He will give straightforward input on placement, contrast, scale, and what will make the finished tattoo work best.
Large-scale projects, coverups, and reworks
Large tattoos need planning. A sleeve, leg piece, chest panel, or multi-session project has to work as a full composition, not a collection of unrelated images squeezed together over time.
Jinx accepts large-scale tattoos, coverups, and reworks. For coverups, the first step is an honest assessment of the existing tattoo: how dark it is, where it sits, how much room is available, and whether the desired new direction can realistically cover or transform it.
If a tattoo needs more room before a coverup will work, Jinx can also discuss laser tattoo reduction.
